Fall 2011 Dancing Schedule

Hello all ye Hep Katz and Kittenz!!!

A new semester is coming up and with it is MORE DANCING! Hurray! Clubs days are Wednesday September 14 and Thursday September 15 from 10-4 in the MPR. Come drop by and dance!

Special Events are yet to be determined, however, the dates for the MONDAY night dances will be as follows:
- Sept 19, 26
- Oct 3, 10, 17, 24 (none on Oct 31)
- Nov 7, 14, 21, 28
- Dec 5

As per the last following years, the schedule will be:
Intermediate lesson: 5:30-6:30pm
Beginner lesson: 6:30-7:30pm
Open Social Dance: 7:30-8:30pm

The intermediate lesson will require at least a semester of swing dancing experience (including East Coast Swing, Jive, Westcoast Swing and Lindy) and will be taught for the most part by two amazing dancers from the community: Dave Jarvis and Tina Lee.

The beginner lesson is fun for all. You need no experience nor partner. Just flat, comfortable shoes, a water bottle, willing to try something new, and some smiles.

As always, this club is run by volunteers and therefore it is FREE! Although we do appreciate donations once and a while so we can put on awesome events. If you want to help out this semester, come talk to or message any of us and we will get you hooked up.
